Every plan gives you access to the Macaly agent. Plans differ in available agent skills, limits, and capabilities.
  • The Free plan is suitable for basic use and simple projects, with one published app.
  • The Starter plan keeps one app live on your own domain and comes with monthly credits.
  • The Pro plan adds more credits, unlimited published apps, GitHub and higher limits.
  • The Agency plan is built for client work - separate client workspaces, centralized billing, and credits that roll over.
All plans include hosting and a database.
A published app is a project that's live on its macaly.app address or on your own domain. Free and Starter include one published app at a time, and Pro has no limit. Drafts and previews don't count, and republishing the same app doesn't use another slot. To put a different project live, unpublish the current one first.
Cloud actions are the changes an AI agent such as ChatGPT or Claude makes in your workspace through Macaly Cloud: creating or duplicating an app, writing, editing or deleting files, running commands, uploading files, publishing and connecting a domain. Reading files and checking status, logs or previews is free. The Free plan includes 100 Cloud actions per workspace each calendar month. The count resets on the 1st (UTC) and unused actions don't carry over. Once they're used up, further changes wait for the reset or an upgrade, while reading and your published app keep working. Starter, Pro and Agency have no monthly action limit. Actions aren't charged one by one, but some skills and your apps' usage still use credits.
Each workspace has one shared file storage allowance: 1 GiB on Free, 5 GiB on Starter and 10 GiB on Pro. It is meant for the files you and your apps keep in Macaly, such as chat uploads and project assets. Storage is the space your files take up right now, not a monthly amount, so deleting files frees it up again. Database records count separately as database usage. When a workspace reaches its allowance, new uploads can be refused until you delete files, or until you upgrade from Free or Starter. Existing files stay available and published apps keep running.
Each plan includes a monthly website traffic allowance: 1 GB on Free, 5 GB on Starter and 10 GB on Pro. Macaly doesn't meter website traffic against it yet, and there's no charge for going over.
On Free, Starter and Pro plans, unused monthly credits expire at the end of your billing period (not the calendar month). On Agency plans, unused credits roll over for up to 60 days. One-time credit top-ups are valid for 60 days from the date of purchase.
Upgrades take effect immediately - you will be charged the full amount, receive the full credits, and your billing cycle will reset. Downgrades and switches to the Free plan take effect at the end of your current billing period. Starter fits a workspace with one published app and up to 5 GiB of files. If a Pro workspace has grown past that by the time its switch to Starter is due, the switch is cancelled and Pro renews.
If you're on Starter or Pro, you can either purchase a one-time credit top-up or upgrade to a plan with more credits. If you're on the Free plan, you'll need to upgrade to continue using the agent. All your projects will remain active and your work will not be affected.
Yes, you can cancel anytime. At the end of your billing period, your published website with a custom domain will go offline and any remaining credits will expire. Your projects and websites on the default Macaly domain will remain accessible - nothing is deleted. Make sure no active site is connected to a custom domain before you cancel.
Your Hosting subscription continues at its current price with the same features, and you can manage or cancel it in Billing as before. Hosting is no longer available to new customers, who can choose Starter to keep one app live on their own domain.
With the pricing update, all old Pro, Plus, and Ultra plans now include the same features as the current Pro plan. Your remaining messages have been converted at a rate of 1 message = 100,000 credits. You can continue using your current plan until it ends, but you can only switch to one of the new plans going forward.
